Rules of Ladder Golf
Each team takes turns tossing the bolas. A turn consists of tossing three bolas underhand, with the goal of wrapping them around the rungs.
After all six goals are tossed (three from each team), the points are tallied based on where the bolas have landed on the ladder. Bolas that are hanging on the top rung earn 3 points each, the middle rung earns 2 points each, and the bottom rung earns 1 point each.
Only one player or team can score per round. If a team’s bolas cancel out an opponent’s bolas on the same rung, no points are scored for the rung by either team.
The first team to reach 25 points wins the game. If the team exceeds 24 points, their score is reduced to 11 points and then continue to play until a team scores exactly 25 points.
The team with the highest score from the previous round tosses first next round.
